4 - Le chateau

 Le Château domine la ville et il est interessant a visiter tant au point de vue architecture, qu’au niveau de l’emplacement qui offre une vue magnifique sur la ville. J’ai regrette de ne pouvoir visiter la cathedrale Saint GUY qui etait fermee a cause de la visite du Pape. La porte d’or avec des mosaiques du XIVe siecle est une pure merveille avec ses petites scenes dorees qui la decorent. La ruelle d’or, etroite, offre une suite de petites boutiques, et au bout se trouve la tour Dalibor qui a servi de prison. Aux alentours du château il y a le jardin Royal tres agreable a parcourir et dans une salle du château on peut assister a un concert de musique classique a 1 h de l’apres midi. Il y a d’ailleurs beaucoup de concerts dans les eglises de Prague et meme un opera Don Giovani joue par des marionnettes.

The Castle looks out over the town and it’s interesting to visit for the architecture and the beautiful view on the town. I was a little desapointed because I cannot visit the Saint Guy cathedral because the Pope was here. The Porte d’Or with mosaics of XIVe is amazing with golden scenes on. The small and narrow golden street offert a lot of small shops and at the end there is the Dalibor Tower was a jail. Around the Castle, there is the Royal Garden and in a room of the Castle we can listen to classic music concert at 1 pm. There is a lot of concerts in the churches of the town and I saw an opera Don Giovanni playing by puppets.
